The Scuba Diving certification course trains you to dive up to 12m under professional supervision. The certificate that you will receive post completing the course will be accepted worldwide and is valid for a lifetime, and it also allows you to upgrade to higher certification levels later if you want.
About the Course:
This is a 1.5 to 2-day program and consists of some theory, some shallow water training, and 2 open water dives. The Open Water course is the standard, first-level certification, and we generally recommend that for people who want to learn to dive. This course is essentially half of an Open Water course PADI Course. It is mainly intended for people who don't have the time or budget to do the full Open Water course, but at the same time, want to learn diving, and have the option of doing the Open Water course later.
Pre-requisites for this course:
The differences are as follows:
PADI: You must buy the manual (which costs more)
SSI: Not necessary to buy the book (so price is less for the course)
NAUI: Includes more detailed theory and more training, includes basic rescue, and an excellent reference book
We accept a license from PADI/SSI or any other valid association through which certified training programs are done.
Yes you can bring your own kit to dive in Andaman.
In the Andaman Islands, all diving is led by approved instructors only. You will not be allowed to go diving alone by yourself.
We recommend you to report to the centre 1 day prior if possible for advance diving. However, if that's not possible then please report to the centre by 7 - 8 AM.
