Ferry To North Bay and Ross Island

The schedule of the ferry rides starts from 8 AM to 1 PM.  The sailing schedule of the ferry may differ based upon the number of travelers on that day. We recommend travelers to get confirmed booking of tickets before you start the trip to North Bay and Island. This ferry ride trip begins from Andaman Water Sports Complex, located around 500 Metre from Aberdeen Bazaar.

This trip takes you to Ross Island, the first administrative settlement of British in the Andaman island and North Bay Island, also known as Coral island. The ferry starts and first takes you to Ross Island where you explore the island for around 90 Minutes. Here you can trek and see the ruins of earlier settlements that were created. A museum is also here to explore. You can even take a guide in Ross Island to know about the rich history of this unique island. Post this destination we move to North Bay Island on the same ferry you came. The ferry ride to North Bay will take approximately 40 minutes from Ross Island.

North Bay Island is the same island that is seen at the back of a 20 Rupee Note (This note was changed in 2019 by the Indian Government). You will be able to identify the lighthouse at the back of 20 Rupee Indian note here on this island. In North Bay Island you can do Scuba Diving, Sea Walk, Snorkeling and Glass Boat Ride. You stay here s for about 3 hours before returning to Andaman Water Sports Complex.

Note: Wednesday no water activities will be taking place in North Bay Island. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory during the ferry ride to North and Ross Island
